School/Commission Work

Some of the projects I've had the most fun with have been school projects and commission work. Working within the constrains of someone else's idea or the outlines of an assignment can bring out a whole different side of you when it comes to art and design. I would have never branched out with styles this much without this work. All of the clients wanted something with a specific look and feel so it was a great challenge to try something different every time.

 

As for the school assignments I usually got a spark of an idea while reading over the prompt. from there it was a matter of stretching myself to see if I could achieve my vision and stretch what I could do. Not everything turned out exactly how I imagined, but i was proud of the end results all the same.
